Terms of service
These terms apply to collections carried out by TMC Metals and Waste Limited.
Quotes
Quotes are based on the description you give us and are valid for 30 days. If the load differs materially on arrival we will re-price before carrying out the work.
Booking and cancellation
A collection is confirmed once you accept the quote and we allocate a slot. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a booking; wasted journeys may be charged.
Access
You must ensure safe and lawful access to the collection point, including parking for a heavy goods vehicle where required. We may decline a collection where access is unsafe.
What we cannot take
We do not collect hazardous waste, asbestos, gas cylinders, clinical waste, liquids, or items containing them, unless agreed in writing beforehand.
Ownership and duty of care
By booking you confirm you own the waste or are authorised to dispose of it. A waste transfer note is issued for every collection and signed by both parties on site.
Payment
Charges are payable on the terms stated in your quote. Where a rebate is due on metal, it is calculated on the weighed load and confirmed after weighing.
Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our negligence. We are not liable for items disposed of in error where they were presented as part of the load for collection.
